The Kingsdon Inn, hotel in Babcary

Featuring a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Kingsdon Inn is located in Kingsdon, 30 miles from Longleat Safari Park and 31 miles from Longleat House. The property has a playground.

Despite the age of the Inn, it is beautifully appointed and charming. Since the Inn is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, we weren’t able to take advantage of the wonderful food we hear they have. Food is available about 5 miles away. We’d definitely stay again!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A beautiful house surrounded by the farm and fields. Loved seeing the beautiful horses in the fields. All very peaceful. Large room with great seating area. A real bonus to have a small fridge in the room. Excellent breakfasts! I would certainly stay again if needing accomodation in the area.

Breakfast was delicious, but the staff and room was cold and quiet. Despite being the only 3 ppl in the room, we were squashed up against a pot plant- and it was difficult to get attention.

Breakfast was excellent! I mostly had mushroom omelette and the mushrooms were full of flavour, lovely coffee too, there was a wide range of choices on the menu. The views from every window were beautiful and it was very quiet. Susie was very welcoming and I felt very relaxed ,also if you love animals they are everywhere!😊 Although I took my own because of skin issues , there were lots of choices of very good toiletries available and the room also smelt very pleasant but not intrusive.

Extremely peaceful, well presented property. Host was very friendly, lodge was immaculate, and I can’t over emphasise just how peaceful and quiet the location is. The wife and I just sat for a moment and appreciated the silence. The property has everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay.
