We were welcomed by Anthony and shown up to our room. There was a bowl of delicious fresh fruit awaiting us. Anthony pointed out the route we could follow for a walk up the hill into nearby woods. The excellent breakfast was presented according to our orders. There was a wide variety on offer.

18th century cottage, maybe earlier? Quaint, love the steep stairs, very old England. Owner very welcoming and friendly. Room 3 was a double ensuite, very comfortable, overlooking beautiful garden, extremely quiet, although near a main road (30mph) we couldn't hear any traffic. Breakfast was tasty and Delicious.

Lovely little old world charming hotel. Room not so big but adequate for a one-night stay. We had two single beds and that was the problem. The beds were very uncomfortable. I think the mattresses need changing! Excellent breakfast and service with a smile. Would recommend this hotel but please change the mattresses in Room No. 4!
