This was exactly what I needed in an overnight stay in Dingwall. It was very warm, in the dead of winter. The room had what I needed including plenty of plugs for charging, and the breakfast the next morning was great. Moira, the host, was lovely.

I have stayed here a couple of times and,can't fault the place or staff. The hosts are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The room is well stocked with tea,coffee and biscuits and dining area is open to allow access outwith serving times. Room spotless and very comfortable and spacious. Rooms are on first floor so not suitable for wheelchair or people with mobility issues. Otherwise I would highly recommend.

We had a very comfortable stay with a warm Scottish welcome from our hosts. The property is spacious with off street parking, yet is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Inverness. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you - we’ll certainly be back.

Great location, right on the waterfront. Fantastic views. Good location for travelling around Black Isle and Inverness area. Really liked Avoch as a village - interesting place to walk around and good facilities close by. Host provided plenty of information although it took us a little while to work out the TV.
Spacious, quiet & cosy! Had everything you needed, we enjoyed our time here! Definitely need a car as it’s quite in the sticks but that wasn’t a problem for us!

It was cosy and had pretty much everything we needed to feel at home. It is situated in a quiet area of the world, but close to the beach and a shop. When we experienced problems with the car we realised that public transport was available and easily accessible too. Overall, it is a charming little house and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Beautifully appointed, charming & cozy accomodation. Very well equipped with everything you need and lots of extra touches like a welcome hamper filled with local produce. Spotlessly clean and super comfy beds. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views across the bay but also an excellent base to explore the Highlands. Would highly recommend a stay in Taigh Sonas.
