The Dog & Partridge Country Inn, hotel in Ashbourne

The Dog and Partridge is a 17th-century inn just a 10-minute drive from Alton Towers, located on the edge of the beautiful Peak District with countryside views.

We all thought the rooms needed updating, the one room smelt very muskey, when I booked the rooms it said they were all single beds, but it was 1 single and 1 double bed in each room, the web sight needs changing to be clearer on how the rooms are planned out. The choice for breakfast was good.

Really enjoyable stay at lovely Tina's B and B. So homely and comfy. The garden is beautiful and it's in a great location for so many different places to visit. It felt like being in a peaceful, tranquil bubble for a few days. 😊

A nice little apartment to stay, they've made it separate to the family cottage even though it's not they've done it so well to be private. Everything you need, quaint, kitchen, bed , bathroom, living room all in one. It's exactly the experience I was expecting, an old cottage with character. Great location to stay and rest while traveling around sightseeing.

Wonderfully comfortable in a great location and provided everything we required. Very cozy with a lovely garden area. In a quiet location but central to Ashbourne. Would book again. Best place to park for free is in the Pavilion car park adjacent to the park on Cokayne Avenue about 3 minutes from the house.

A very quiet and comfortable bungalow in a great location. It was easy to walk into Ashbourne itself and to drive to other places of interest. The bungalow had everything we needed and was really spacious for the two of us.
