Anne and Gilles are lovely, friendly hosts. Our little suite had a private entry through the garden and could be closed off from the rest of the house for total privacy. The setting was quiet and peaceful looking out over a large yard/garden surrounded by woods and wildlife. Breakfast in their dining room surrounded by large windows looking out into the garden was a real treat. We felt very welcome and at home there.

Manuela is courteous and kind and is all about making sure her guests are comfortable. The property is situated close to the magnificent cathedral and the Roman walls and is part of the old town! Manuela has recommendations for restaurants and museums too such a convenient stay for day or night walkabouts in town!

The hostess Sylvie and her husband were lovely people, very friendly. They made sure we were comfortable and Sylvie made a beautiful breakfast with lots of homemade foods, even fresh eggs from her little girls (chickens) from her cottage. Quite tasty! She always had fresh bread, apple sauce and fresh honey from her neighbors' hives. She recommended nice restaurants and interesting places to visit in LeMans. The room was very comfy with electric shudders so the room was very dark, good to sleep a little later if you wanted. We had the whole top floor for ourselves.

The family was great. Breakfast was excellent. Parking went great. It is a very charming and special place. Could not think of a better place to stay in Le Mans.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very welcoming and charming hosts, Chantal and Pierre. Close to Le Mans, where there are a number of good restaurants, but none as good as L’Epi’curieux, where I was lucky to get the last dining table. Spacious bedroom, with a view over the river and trees; bathroom with a shower; excellent breakfast with every conceivable form of bread and croissants, with five different honeys and fresh jams; multiple fresh fruits (and a hard boiled egg). Heated and covered swimming pool in the large shady garden for a refreshing morning swim - decent size.
Beautiful place. Great location, easy to find and was spot on location for an overnight stay before travelling to the Dordogne. The restaurant is incredible and quality of food excellent.
Hosts were charming, even carried our bags upstairs, breakfast was everything you could wish for. Host made a special trip to the shops to obtain some Earl Grey Tea. One of the rooms was double aspect and looked over the river and the very pleasant gardens. I imagine that with permission one can fish from the bank of the river. 10/10
A beautiful and spotlessly clean old manoir with excellent breakfasts, including home baked cakes. In a quiet and yet central area, great for visiting Suisse Normande and regional places of interest. David was a superb host, giving advice on where to visit and booking restaurants for the evening. Would strongly recommend a stay and hope to return soon.
