Beautiful room in a lovely little hamlet. Cant recommend enough. We will be back
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We had a pleasant stay at Christophe’s apartment. We met him briefly when we were leaving, he was very friendly. Location was convenient for hiking in the area, with free private parking behind the building. Apartment was tidy, kitchen had everything you would need, and small balcony was a nice extra; everything looks as pictured. Several books/flyers on local hikes and activities were provided as well. Building features an elevator (apartment is on 3rd floor). The town has a large supermarket only a few minutes away by car.
The hotel is nicely located, near the main road but it's a quiet place. You need a few minutes to get there from the main road. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the contact with them is very good - even if you come quite late (as I did). There is a small restaurant / pub which is pretty nice.
A very charming house with very friendly, helpful and hospitable owners. I would recommend you to utilize the opportunity of having a dinner with them. We also enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful garden pavillon with swings.
I loved this place. It had everything you needed in the property and was quite charming as it had a feel of maybe your grandma or grandpa,s house which gave it real character. I slept better here than I have in years ! Maybe the sound of rushing water and the peace otherwise. Owner came to meet me when my sat nav was zero help and he was fun and friendly, as was his wife. Vic sur Cere had a nice feel to it and was a great base to explore the area.
The area was lovely although it was too hot to hike for long. We enjoyed our tour of Vic-sur-Cere, organised by the Tourist Office. WE particularly enjoyed the town swimming pool and the surrounding park. The hotel was particularly quiet and the room north-facing which we appreciated when the temperatures soared to 36 degrees.
The people in the area were very friendly and helpful
Wonderful welcome from the hosts. Very nice building with very pleasant, well-appointed rooms in a good location. Nice pool and terrace at the rear of the building. Private parking for our motorbikes. The evening meal was exceptional, and service was great. Had a really good night’s sleep. Breakfast was very pleasant, too, and served from early to late in the morning.
