We had a mind blowing experience🙃 The hosts Yveline and Michel were outgoing and VERY welcoming. It was more like visiting friends to be perfectly honest. We were part of their daily life, had dinner with them and met the extended family. It was a blast. We will be back for sure!!

Stayed here for one night in the lovely little town of Mettray. The Manoir du Rouvre is a 15th century property which is beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean, large comfortable bed and a very large luxurious bathroom. The gardens are fabulous the hosts were great very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was served with local French bread and homemade preserves, tea, coffee, toast, cheese, croissants and a fruit salad which was very enjoyable.

We were there for one night, it was ideal located less than 10min walk from city center, very clean room, spacious, very good bathroom with walk in shower, great staff, very quiet at night in a peaceful neighbourhood, private and safely gated parking for guests. We didnt have breakfast but we had a nice coffee and bisquit on the communal terrace and a great talk with the very friendly owners and staff, very nice !

A superb apartment in a great location easy walking distance from the Cathedral and city centre. Balcony views to the river Loire and Cathedral. Beautiful location in a quiet part of the city centre. Easy to reach by car and cheap to park for a single night when passing through. Lovely breakfast for the number of guests at the small hotel. Polite service in simple English, which is rare among the French.
A great location, mainly quiet with some late night noise - this was a Saturday night to Sunday stay. No church bells disturbing our morning. We had a parking spot and we’re able to walk to a vegetarian restaurant. The breakfast was lovely - croissant and fresh fruit.
