We found this Chambre d'hôtes de l'écluse d'Episy near Fontainebleau south of Paris. It is quite small: a converted garage, but big enough for the two of us. There is a jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use but it looked lovely. We easily drove into Fontainebleau for dinner.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything great. Beautiful modern apartment overlooking the Seine, very quiet and peaceful. Very clean and very well equipped. The biggest most comfy bed we’ve ever slept in. Andrew and Laurence were wonderful hosts and we would definitely want to stay there again if we are ever in the area. Not far from Fontainebleau Chateau, well worth a visit. Wish we had been able to stay longer.
