A very French house in the grounds of a very English garden. The room we had was large, the bed was comfortable and the exclusive use of a shower room was actually en-suite and again very good. Our host changed towels every two days … don’t argue and makes your first hot drink of the day. Breakfast selection was exactly what we wanted and expected with a freshly prepared fruit salad surprise each morning. Just a mile from the nearest beach but very convenient for many of the Normandy attractions.
Janine speaks pretty good English is full of information and was very entertaining.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Stephan is a great host. He was helpful in what we should focus on in visiting the area. He also sent us to a great apple cider farm. We loved being met by his pup before our day excursions and upon our return.
Lovely house located in a quiet village. Very nice rooms. Excellent host who helped us plan visit to Bayeux Tapestry and D-day beaches. He also helped us to find places to eat nearby. Good breakfast served at communal table. Recommended.
The location, the history of the property and the friendliness of the owner Stefan. He knew an awful lot about the area.
Excellent breakfasts with a great choice of cold meats, local cheeses, breads and fruit.it really is a beautiful property.
It is a historic property which has been tastefully refurbished. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. The lounge and dining area likewise. We also had the evening meal which was excellent as the owner is a professional chef. As we were the only ones staying there that evening it was like having our own private chef.
