A charming manoir within a beautful park, very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, and last but not least a nice host who recommended us an outstanding restaurant for the dinner in the neighbourhood. In other words: a perfect stay – and highly recommanded!

I loved the rural environment - it was of course very quiet and peaceful. Easy parking in front of the house. A bit far from anything, but it was easy to reach with a car, and it was perfect for a one-day stopover when traveling through the country. The room was very small, but perfectly fine for a single traveler. I would certainly stay here again.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We had a truly delightful stay at Maison 1949. It would be hard to beat the warmth of the hospitality and the quality of the accommodation. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom, spacious and very well equipped. Dinner and breakfast were a real treat - there was an exceptional range of choice in the morning with almost everything being homemade. This a charming place run by charming people and we would love to return.
