Compact. Nice for my dogs. Abbeville did seem lovely and I imagine the gardens of the property were also nice, but it was bitterly cold outside so we just stayed in. Property nice and warm.

The hosts were very pleasant. The evening meal was excellent. It was nice as a solo traveller to have a communal meal. Parking was secure. The village has enough of interest to pass a pleasant evening. Ooh, and really good pot of tea for breakfast.

Eric couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and was an amazing host. We had fabulous evening meal all freshly cooked. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we couldn't have wished for a better stay and cant wait to go back.

Being delayed by traffic, Stephan was kind to wait for us to do a late check-in. It is a very beautiful house in the middle of the campagne. We were happily surprised by the spacious bathroom and the homely atmosphere. Very clean and quiet at night.
