This place exceeded our expectations in every way. It was absolutely fabulous.
Situated just 8.8 km from National Maritime Museum, Brest, Le relais de Roscarven features accommodation in Gouesnou with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We had a spacious room with an excellent king size bed. The windows overlooked the garden. The breakfast was generous and the bread/croissants very fresh. Fresh fruit freely available. The host was welcoming and helpful. She spoke English and was very attentive at breakfast to ensure we had everything we needed. There was a lounge available just for guests.
Madame Danielle was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble and our every need was anticipated and catered for.
The house and facilities were attractive, comfortable and far better than you would expect in an ordinary b and b. The use of the fridge was particularly helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a range of ham and cheese on offer and a choice of bread and homemade cake.
