Bruno and Valérie were really friendly and welcoming, and despite it being a last minute booking, they had no hesitation in offering to cook us dinner, which was delicious along with Bruno's wine recommendation.
Our room was beautiful and spacious, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The whole property was lovely.
The village was quite, and within two minutes we were able walk to a great wine bar, or be standing amongst vines! Perfect!
We highly recommend staying at La Dixmeresse.

The ranch is nice and the studio is spacious. However the unit's floor is not all on the same level and it would be dangerous if you are not aware of the dropped area. My husband fell there with a chair and got his elbow bleeding. Luckily he was not seriously hurt. The breakfast is tasty and the 3 courses dinner prepared by the owner (28 euro per person) is good too, but you need to book in advance. The latest check in time at 7 pm is not friendly to travelers because most of the restaurants in Loire Valley open at or after 7 pm. It is not possible for you to have dinner before you check in. However, if you check in first and go down to the city for dinner, it will cost you at least 45 mins extra and the road to the ranch at night is really dark.

Great host, peaceful rural location next to the Loire.
Pool great to dip in after a morning exploring area and chateaux. King room with garden view. Breakfast very good with fresh breads. Happy we chose king size room as we stayed for 10 nights so it gave us more space and a wonderful garden view. Host very amenable and he offered us ham and cheese for breakfast as well as the usual spread.

The property and surrounding forest is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the superior suite which was so tastefully decorated. The huge bathtub with views of the forest through the skylights was incredible. There is also a lovely breakfast room with views of the forest. Breakfast was delicious with lots of local and homemade produce. The host was lovely and welcoming. It is the perfect place for a relaxing retreat in nature while still being within a few minutes drive of a town with ample restaurants etc. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

I would surely say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed! Bertrand and Samira are very responsive and intelligent couple. It was really difficult to leave from their beautiful house. Over any expectations! I could write a short essay about this experience, but you better try yourselves.

Selma, our host, has created a magical accommodation high in the trees. The treehouse is well furnished, comfortable and with an outside terrace where one can commune with the birds and trees. And, listen to the lovely tone of the hourly chimed church bell.
Seeing stars glint through the bedroom windows and hearing owls (Little Owl) is a mindful moment before sleep.

The place is magnificent. We had wonderful time there and it was a pleasure to spend time with the wonderful Laurence, who provided useful information about the region. The atmosphere is amaizing. The quality of the service too.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hostess was charming and very obliging to make our stay ultra comfortable. The breakfast was great and the rooms were well structured and spacious. Great value for money with great feeling of being home away from home.
Lovely historic guest building alongside the old chateau with very stylish room. Quirky and comfy at the same time with a bath too.
Hosts were charming and spent time talking to their guests. Breakfast excellent and the grounds were peaceful and attractive. Good place from which to visit several chateaux, gardens and other attractions in the area. Very good value too for the quality of the accommodation
Everything!! The chateau is so beautiful and surrounded by charming gardens, little forest and river - it’s a really special place. The host Genevieve is so lovely and greeted us with a warm welcome (drink included) :) the breakfast was amazing - the best croissants Ive ever eaten and I even got a special vegetarian veggie mix each morning. If you have the chance to stay here you simply must 😊
Excellent breakfast and welcoming/charming owners, nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean refurbished bedrooms. Great lounge and breakfast room full of antiques
