A very quiet rural location. Our room and bathroom was clean and well presented, with tea and coffee etc.
We took advantage of having an evening meal delivered to the house, which was very welcome (tomato salad starter, beef and potatoes main course and pastel de nata dessert).
There was a slight problem with the booking when we arrived as our arrival was unexpected despite the booking...but our hosts quickly corrected the situation and were very apologetic. We shared a lovely bottle of homemade cider over suggestions for local things to see and do.
Breakfast was delicious.

Not far from the canal cycle route and town centre. Lovely comfortable room with en-suite. Extremely welcoming hosts who provided us with a drink and home made shortbread on our arrival. We were lucky enough to stay for their delicious evening meal and had a very pleasant evening with a group of other cycling guests. Delicious breakfast.
