Hosts were really friendly and hospitable. On our arrival we were made to feel comfortable and enjoyed a lovely swim in the pool which is in the well kept grounds. Our host even went to the trouble of advising and booking our evening meal at a local restaurant which was exceptional. Breakfast was great with freshly baked breads and a selection of local jams to top it off.

The location is very peaceful and quiet, the chateau is very well looked after for its age, obviously a family home, the breakfast area is in the main room, very cosy and traditional. The facilities available are very good. We were very impressed. Will recommend to anyone.

We booked online 15minues before arriving. Desperate for a room for the night.
We had to leave at 7.15am. The owner prepared a lovely continental breakfast for us at 6am!

Beautifully peaceful and stunning location, surrounded by nothing but nature. Well equipped house, nothing missing, the most welcoming, interesting and generous hosts ever.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The town of St Junien is attractive, and the hotel is in the centre. Our room was at the back of the hotel, and very quiet and well equipped. The receptionist was ‘a pocket rocket’. She was very hands on in the restaurant too, at dinner - the hotel is fortunate to have such an employee! Dinner was great, and value for money (€24 for 3 courses was our choice). Unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool, despite the heat!
We loved the building, decor and the garden. The owner has created a traditional French residence, provides an excellent breakfast and an evening meal on request.
What a find. A little gem in St. Junien. Laurent was a fantastic host. This hotel is definitely boutique and fabulous. Everything you could ever want. Lauryvan Restaurant is exceptional. Food was delicious and only 2 mins drive away. You could walk it and have a little tiple. Swimming pool looked so inviting but just didn't get tge chance to use it. We will definitely return. Sylvie is a marvellous host, very personable service and nothing is too much trouble. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast prepared by Sylvie. Dinner will be one of those special memories that we will always treasure. Our room in this B&B had a beautiful decor, boasting a spacious comfortable room and large modern bathroom. Excellent all round. Lovely garden. Private on site parking
