Situated in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, La Coquille Napoléon has a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms are equipped with a patio with views of the garden.
The setting is so beautiful. The views magnificent.
The host Marc was great. Very helpful and generous. Our room was as expected, with a small balcony overlooking the terraced garden. Very peaceful and quiet. The property is in a great location within the old town walls. Close to good restaurants and sights.
Location, atmosphere, quaint, welcoming, easy to find, close to train station, close to food, close to Pilgrims Office. Plenty of facilities, quiet and safe and secure. Clear instructions too. The hosts went above and beyond, the food was hearty and nourishing, the breakfast was generous and fresh, and the croissant were to die for. Husband and wife team are so welcoming, funny and speaks and understands English really well. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to start my journey., or maybe I’ll just stay here instead!
This is an absolute gem in the heart of St-Jean-Pied-du-Port for the beginning of The Camino Frances. The hotel is spotless, the staff so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful and it offers a kettle and tea bags. The home has been updated but still has on old world charm. I would highly recommend this hotel as a luxury start for your Camino or any other person visiting this quaint town. Five stars.
This was a nice little room in a great location in the center of this beautiful little town. It was small but had everything we needed. It was very clean, had a lovely view and very quiet.
