Lovely property, with loads of old fashioned charm as expected from an older, romantic, small French chateau. Super nice and helpful staff who gladly provided us with plates, silverware, and glasses so we could share our evening picnic and a bottle of wine with a couple of other guests, which we did first on the patio before we moved to the large wooden table in the warm kitchen.

Excellent location just a stone’s throw away from
some of the best vineyards in St Estephe.
Our hosts spoke sufficient English for us to be able to communicate during the stay, nothing was too much trouble, and they clearly poured a huge investment in the building of their home, and alot of love into running this B&B

The room was VERY spacious and had a nice view to the back gardens. Giles, the house manager was lovely, very accommodating. The house has lots of extra rooms to lounge in with reading material and games. There are only 5 rooms in this big house, so very comfortable and quiet.
Because there are only 5 rooms available, it really felt like a private stay in a large french home. Gilles was friendly, attendant and happy to meet all requests. We stayed with two other couples who were travelling and visiting the Medoc with us and Les Ormes de Pez could not have been better.
Charming and helpful staff. Wine from the owners many estates (Pez des Ormes, Lynch-Bages, Haut Batailley) is available to buy at prices slightly lower than in shops. Sunny lawn with swallows and one hare. The owners offered a free visit to Lynch-Bages (they do this if space available) the next morning. Since there were not many people staying (only 5 rooms) it felt like we had the Chateau to ourselves!
Beautiful Château, recently renovated to a very high standard.
Lucie gave us a very comprehensive and interesting tour and tasting…. we were lucky to have been allowed brief access to the winery as it was the beginning of the harvest.
Excellent breakfast and lovely terrace to sit out on in the evening sunshine.
Location, staff! Really nice little Château- cozy & friendly environment. Not luxury but we felt there better than in a 5 star hotel bc of the very nice atmosphere & tranquility. Very nice, old-style building and charming rooms! We definitely recommend!
Very quiet rural location that is well equipped. since the owners produce wine, we got a private tour and had a private tasting. the breakfast was very good.
the hosts were very welcoming and did everything to help us enjoy our stay.
