Apart from the slight difficulty with the house numbers, which meant I missed it first time, I really couldn't fault anything. Patrick was jumping up and down to gain my attention on arrival, and by the time I had got to the huge garage the door, it was open to invite me and my moto in from the rain to the dry! The cold beer of welcome was, well, welcome!! The bedroom was huge and very clean as was the loo and shower, and the bed remarkably comfy. Breakfasts were varied, fresh and more than adequate. It was as if I had known Patrick for a long time, and was made extremely welcome. If I am in the area again, I know where I shall be staying: thank you for everything.

We had a fantastic weekend in Villa Moncoeur and we loved absolutely everything. The hosts are very nice, helpful and professional, this is one of that rare places where you do NOT think "I would do differently.." or "I would add smth like..". The breakfast is exceptional. The villa itself is so beautiful and charming. We enjoyed staying near the pool and on the terrace listening to the birds, we walked in the beautiful woods and we have visited Remiremont situated 5 minutes walk from the villa. We would love to come back and to see this place in autumn and in winter as well.
