In this and many chambres d’hote, French B&B, you often get more than you expect. Certainly true in this here, where the host was eager, friendly, and meticulous. My room was large and bright with a hot water kettle and tea/coffee (something not common in French hotels). She showed me the bath and WC, not en-suite but right next door. Because that there were fluffy robes for making the short trip. The bath itself was huge and had a jacuzzi option. She asked in advance about supper which I declined but happily poured me a small carafe of wine for a small price and delivered in on tray with fork and spoon for my pretty a manger salad. Breakfast was ample, varied and delicious in the French form - breads, croissant, confiture, yaourt, etc. you pay less than a hotel and get much more.

We appreciated the opportunity to stay in a champagne-producing property and one with historical interest, having served to house British officers during WWII. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in instructions were clear and worked perfectly. There was very good communication with us ahead of our visit. We found the location convenient to explore the history and wine-producing aspects of the region.

Charming farm setting - a large, spacious, multi-room apartment over an old stone barn. The interior spaces were extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The property is restful and a lovely place for a relaxing stroll - with a river, chickens, horses, and nature all around. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. They provided extremely helpful information with photos and explanations about how to enter the property and how to enter the apartment - which made it possible for us to enter without any assistance from them. Nevertheless, Clement made sure to connect with us and provide helpful info. Their restaurant recommendation was superb. The optional breakfast was very good. We felt very comfortable, safe, and well looked after.

Great location for visiting Reims or as a stop going to southern parts of France from the Netherlands or the other way round. 10 min by car to city center Reims / the cathedral. Restaurants and super U close by. Breakfast and room were amazing! Great value for money and a very pleasant 2 night stay.
