We booked last-minute, and arrived in the evening (end of October). No restaurants were open, in the vicinity. She shared a meal with us, and we had a wonderful conversation, with local artisanal treats.

It’s a restored convent so a bit quirky, but nicely outfitted. The highlight is Marie-Laure who runs the place. She provides a good value breakfast and a superb dinner (which is worth coming to stay just on its own). More importantly, she is just a delightful and engaging person who makes the world just a little bit nicer by being it it.
