We stayed in the suite. It was large, airy, clean and so comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. The terrace was wonderful. Our favourite aspect of the property is the lovely grounds and the pool. We really enjoyed being outside and swimming in such pretty surroundings.

This is a lovely converted farmhouse, modern inside but with beautiful furnishings inherited from the proprietors’( Honorine)great grandmother. . Honorine is a wonderful chef, and prepared a lovely meal for us.
Solignac is a quiet villager where everyone knows each other, with an impressive old abbey from the 1200´s, now again occupied by monks.
Located just 6.2 mi from Limoges, Chambres d’Hôtes Le Chalet is set within a wooden park with a chestnut grove. There is a terrace and BBQ facilities are available on site.

The breakfast was delicious and the Ghislane, the hostess, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Our bedroom had a wonderful view of Lomoges in the distance, close enough to be handy, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.
