If there was a better score than exceptional for a B&B, this place would be it! Totally amazing from the setting, decor and hospitality. Valkitty went way beyond expectations, an exceptional cook, travel guide and hostess. If you are in the Bayuex area, try to get one of the two rooms at this property, you'll walk away going WOW!

Offering an outdoor seasonal pool, Chambre d'Hôtes Le Vivier is settled in an ancient 18th century farm. This bed and breakfast is located 9 km away from the Cerisy Forest Natural Reserve.

The rooms feature garden or pond views and a king size bed. In the bathroom there is a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Babysitting and child services are available upon request.

We felt at home, almost lived with relatives (generous to guest). Normal to expect silence and relaxation in an isolated site in the open countryside. Less obvious feeling welcomed, invited by Yohann to confront each other and followed in our reckless requests for breakfasts at improbable hours in the morning.

We stayed for one week during the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The accommodations were fantastic! Clean, modern, comfortable and private. The grounds were spectacular - mature gardens with beautiful landscaping. There are many horse farms surrounding the cottage along with some goats and pheasants. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning with local goods from the bakery. The heated pool was delightful! WiFi worked great. Our host Nathalie proactively secured special driving permits on our behalf to ensure we had proper access to travel in the region (driving is limited to those with special permits only during this celebration week). A few minutes from Bayeux, it is a perfect central location for all the beaches and museums in Normandy. Great for couple and families. We highly recommend staying there - best host family! On-site and very attentive and available to help. We will miss our time there but hope to return someday.

We enjoyed our visit very much, our host,Beatrice, was so accommodating and thoughtful, she Made sure we had ice packs to keep our beer cool after days out and did everything possible to make our stay worthwhile. Parking is great. Nice breakfast every morning with jams and jellies home made from the garden produce. These can also be purchased. Felt comfortable enough to sit and chill in the garden in the evening. Very close to Bayeux, a place we loved with lots of places to eat. Amusing goats made us chuckle and Tosca the dog loves attention . Would definitely visit again. The electric blinds in the room made it totally dark, great for sleeping.

The cottage was amazing, far exceeded expectations. The couple that ran it were so friendly and welcoming, and made us a beautiful traditional French breakfast. The drive out there was really cool, and had a very small country town vibe to it. Would 10/10 recommend! Felt like it'd be perfect for a couples get away, but I went there with a mate just to have somewhere to stay for the night, and it was still great.

This is an incredibly charming historic manor House, that has been restored with respect to - and in accordance with the original features and details of the building. Surrounding the House is a beautiful garden with nice spots for relaxation, and with a family of peacocks living in it. The host, Walkyrie, is very nice and pleasant, and she prepared for us a very delicious breakfast. We absolutely loved staying at Le Manoir du Pont Senot and give this place our best recommandations

The house, the room, surroundings, the owner. In the middle of the nature you can find this super beautiful house which is superbly renovated but remaining with a lot of character. The room we stayed in was big, beautiful/cosy, had a very comfortable large bed, two separate single beds and large bathroom. it was just excellent. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast with home made products which change every day. This was one of the best stays we had so far.
