Everything about it was beautiful! The building, the room, the land, the view. The owner was so kind, and I really appreciated their help and recommendations for where to go around the hotel. The breakfast is an added plus! Croissants, yogurt, cereal, bread, jam and honey from the property.

The house is just great! It has big territory, big and clean swimming pool(such a bonus!), surrounded by trees. Joelle made very nice breakfast, tasty coffee and the room has its own little kitchen, which is helpful staying with a child. It a 30 min drive from Valensole and lavender fields, but it location in mountains brings its charm and tranquility. Out stay was just great!

We loved the charming typical french country house type of cottages (has all together only 4 guesthouses) which make it quiet, familial & more enjoyable 😍 we had a wonderful little terrace to ourselves, a big pool to cool off & a french homemade with love & detail prepared breakfast from the host Joel herself 🙏🏼. Definitely recommend & already looking forward to coming back for a Déjá vu 😍❣️🌸

Jennifer had a list of foods I could check off that I would like for breakfast. She always left a personal touch and made me excited to sit outside on the patio in the morning to eat. Any time I’d need food at a very early time (as in 5am), she’d accommodate by leaving it in the fridge the night before. Actually, she’d accommodate in every way imaginable. She helped me find a place to get a Covid test that I needed to head back home. She also gives amazing massages! As a solo female traveler staying here, I felt all the love and peace. The room was incredible, the presentation was outstanding, having a pool AND hot tub all to myself was a dream come true! It was almost hard to leave to go out for the day when I’d have such an amazing time at home. I can’t wait to stay here again someday!

The nice owners let us move in earlier than the advertised check in time as they realized we arrived from a great distance. The premises were immaculately clean and tidy. Everything felt fresh, new and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was ample and served with care. The hosts offered refills if we ran out of something. They were not intrusive and gave us great advice as to which roads we should take in order to see the best lavender fields which were in bloom at the time. We could elect to leave our car on the street 10-15 meters from the house or on the small street right next to the entrance to the house.

On arriving at La Campagne St Lazare were immediately captivated by the beautiful house and grounds. We received a warm and friendly greeting from Isabelle who offered us an upgrade from a studio to an apartment. The ground floor apartment included an outside sitting area, in which we enjoyed our breakfast surrounded by an array of beautiful flowers, plants and trees. As there is also an onsite restaurant, we booked a table and enjoyed immensely a varied and mouth-watering vegan 3-course meal. The ingredients included vegetables, fruits and herbs grown on the land, as well as locally sourced products. Over the next few days, we enjoyed cooling down in the swimming pool. In the evenings we walked around the Biodiversity trail, experiencing the smell of lavender and taking in nature. We both loved the environmental values of La Campagne St Lazare as well as the location, and we will most certainly come back again.

The room was very spacious. and comfortable. The decor was very interesting. The elevated outlook over the countrside was very attractive. The facilitiies were excellent, with access to a kitchen. The breakfast choice was vast and the breakfast itself was of excellent quality. And best of all the host was extra friendly and helpful. Overall, a excellent experience in all regards.
