Very friendly hosts and great location. 'Dartmoor' refers to the type of pony that the hosts breed and show, and there were a couple of friendly ones in the field next to the house! Lovely breakfast, tea and coffee always available in the dining area, and some nice little touches (eg bottled water in the room on arrival) made for a very homely feel, despite this being a fairly new building and one seemingly designed to cater for large groups and wedding parties. Lots of off-street parking and only a few minutes drive from a couple of local towns with a good selection of eateries. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked, save that the wifi was a tiny bit patchy in the room itself.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. Nestled in a quiet rural setting, the property offered relaxation, which we needed from the hustle and bustle of city life where we came from. The room was cozy and clean. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.

My second stay here and it was better than i remembered , the Host was friendly and although i don't speak French, communication was no problem, the breakfast is simple but filling .This place is quiet and relaxing with Merville within walking distance for restaurants etc , indoor parking was also provided for my Motorcycle .
A great house for a week in Northern France. Central but quiet. Very well equipped . Designated safe parking for two cars. Lovely hosts who dealt with a power problem immediately. The photos don’t do it justice.
Excellent breakfast with a touch of Low Countries influence as well as the French element - so I enjoyed superb bread and pastries, melon, cheese, fruit juice ... a breakfast that would be an ideal start for a day's driving.
Quiet location, beautiful interior. The bedroom and living/communal space were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Outside space too to relax and have a game of boules or eat in the courtyard. Shops and a couple of restaurants less than 5 min drive away.
In a lovely quiet location, very scenic, the breakfast was good, and the Host was very helpful and friendly. Close to local walks, village centre and some decent restaurants.
The room was a good size, and everything was in good order.
They also provided Garage parking for my motorcycle.

Following a nine hour journey from Germany on our way back to UK, this was an unexpected oasis of peace and comfort.
Everything was perfect! Sandrine was such a kind and amazing host - she made sure our stay was simply wonderful! The house is a proper gem, immaculately clean, comfortable with outstanding attention to detail, as soon as we stepped in we were welcomed with a luxury and felt like VIP guests! We did not want to leave and I was really sorry we were not able to book another stay straight away. We will definitely be back!!!
Friendly welcome. Lovely courtyard setting with designated parking spaces for the two gites and the room. Owner checked we were happy with dogs before letting her well behaved collies out who were keen to play ball. Lovely room with ensuite and nice touches throughout Excellent breakfast both sweet and savoury and a good amount of coffee which is always welcome. It was the last night of our trip and a very pleasant end to our holiday.
Went to visit my uncle's war grave in Merville. Airport Hotel suited perfectly. Cheap and cheerful with an excellent young lady who appeared to do all the work, and who was endlessly helpful and cheerful. Although basic, everything was clean, there was plenty hot water and everything worked including the wifi. I even got a French breakfast for 6 Euros! Not the place to take a date, but perfect for my purposes
