#1 - the host and hostess - Zabeth and Daniel were the best. so helpful, welcoming, warm and pleasant. the garden/pool area was beyond gorgeous. the unit was comfortable, well appointed - bed was very comfy

Beautiful apartment (Canigou) in the heart of Maureillas-las-Illas. Well equipped and undeniably authentic. The hosts were charming and helpful throughout. We look forward to the next time!
Lovely old house renovated. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good lighting. Surfaces to put things. Very helpful owners. Parking within easy walking distance.
Ideal for cyclists. Location - on the main street, 2 minutes walk from the city centre in the medieval house. The owners - a very nice couple helped with advise about how to continue the root best. Both are extremely nice. There is a washing machine with a dryer, so we washed our stuff and all was ready for wearing the next early morning.
Room was spacious and light, clean and well planned with everything one could need for simple meals, and the sitting room and terraces an extra. Very quiet with just the pretty church bells … and occasional local music from the bar at the end of of the road.. not loud or late.
My room was second floor but the stairs are easy.

The auberge is minutes from the motorway with a private car park. You can book dinner ahead, which was homemade and delicious, as was breakfast. This was a great pit stop on our journey, with super hosts.
Very warm welcome! The owners were very, very helpful and courteous. The room and it’s furniture was charming. Nothing to miss in the kitchen and the bathroom. Cosy, quiet location with free public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity and good shopping facilities (SPAR supermarket, pharmacy, café, bar, restaurant) right around the corner. From Maureillas here you can both hike and drive to the beach e.g. St Cyprien.
If ist turns out we definitely will come back to Maureillas and this lovely place.
Everything! Very charming house, unbelievably friendly and accomodating hosts, delicious food and all at very good prices. Will return for sure if we are in the vicinity. A true gem!
