We went to Marseille for a concert at the Velodrome; the location was perfect for access. Quiet residential area, perfect for a relaxing break. Also very easy access to all the sights; Chritiane and her family are very helpful, and knowledgeable of the area; We stayed for 2 nights, had a lovely breakfast of fresh coffee ,juice, croissants jams served on the upstairs terrace with views of the sea and the very famous Basilica de la Notre Dame de la Garde; I would highly recommend this property, which also has a lovely pool, in well tended and comfortable gardens;

Caroline was an excellent hostess who went out of her way to accommodate ones needs.She was friendly and made one feel at home. The location was excellent; it was only a few minutes walk into the port which is the central part of town and I had a beautiful large room which looked out into a courtyard and was very quiet. I would have no hesitation to recommend this small hotel to other travellers.

The location is perfect in the Panier-but be aware- as others have noted you do have to walk up some steps. If you have heavy luggage or have mobility issues it may not be your place. But if you can handle your luggage it’s really a wonderful place to stay. The garden is comfortable and quiet. However the biggest reason to stay here is the incredible owner who gives you recommendations and goes above the call of duty making reservations for you so you will have a locals visit not a tourist visit.
