This was not our first stay, and we come back as happy as ever.
Very comfortable little house, living room / open kitchen and large bedroom.
The kitchen has everything ready to prepare all meals.
Very comfortable large bed and good heating.
Mathilde had started the log fire before our arrival, making the place even cozier.
Chargé is a good base to explore the Loire castles, and Les 3 Échoppes make it even better.

The location is amazing. Only a very short distance from the centre of town and all attractions and services, but tucked away in a quiet and safe location. The owners were very friendly, spoke excellent English which was very appreciated, every comfort provided and breakfast was generous and everything high quality and fresh.

We have just spent a delightful two days with Alison at Le 31. As soon as we arrived we found her to be a genuinely warm lovely person who takes pride in her home and in entertaining guests. The house and bedrooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The beds are so comforable that I didn't want to get out of it and slept soundly both nights. Everything in Amboise is within walking distance and so we dined out for tapas one night and then Alson cooked us a lovely meal on the second night which was my husbands birthday. Highly recommended if you want something more personal than a large hotel. We shall be back for sure.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The owners were very communicative, informative and friendly. The room was lovely and the bed super comfortable. Secure, free onsite parking with just a short walk down to all of the local restaurants and attractions. We only stayed for 1 night but will definitely stay again when we next visit Amboise.

It was a beautiful private house in a select location. The owner was exceedingly kind and very hospitable. She went out of her way to provide a very comfortable stay even if for just one night. The breakfast was carefully thought out and delicious. As well as very healthy. A charming couple indeed.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very quiet and peaceful with good-sized accommodation for 2 people. Well equipped - excellent shower and a comfortable bed - with a very nice outdoor area. Good location for exploring the area.
Amazing experience to stay in a cave dwelling! Very unusual and atmospheric, with charming traditional furnishings. The bedroom was spacious, cosy and comfortable, with easy chairs and a writing desk.
To be honest as a couple we rattled around a bit in the cavernous part of the accommodation and spent most of our time in the bedroom, which was easier to heat too. The place would be fabulous for a group of four.

Our host (Anne) was very friendly and hospitable, nothing was too much problem. The breakfast was delicious. We tasted wine and that was also excellent. Lovely quiet location. Highly recommended.
Quality, cleanliness, combining tradition with the contemporary. Bed was very comfortable, hosts charming. The outside space was delightful, with large table, and umbrella to give the essential shade. Fresh eggs, and tomatoes growing on the plants right by the door. I rate this highly.
