The room was self contained with its own front door which led to a cosy bedroom which was tastefully decorated and beautifully clean. The en suite with a separate toilet was well appointed with everything one could wish for. The highlight of our stay was the food!! Breakfast, included in the price, was wonderful - everything apart from the bread and croissants was home made and to a very high standard; the portions were also very generous. The surprise for us was the provision of an evening meal for an additional €30 each. 3 traditional gourmet Breton courses all prepared and cooked by the patronne. Excellent!

Best chambres d'hotes I have ever been to.....and I have been to dozens. Fantastic values for money. We had a large room in the barn, beautifully furnished: the whole place is full of character. Substantial breakfast too. All in all, we were made to feel extremely welcome and WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Our stay at La Récréation in July was great. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. Youmna & Anthony gave us some good recommendations of nearby beaches, attractions and restaurants. They also kindly helped with restaurant reservations.
The accommodation is thoughtfully decorated and very clean. The facilities in Les Billes apartment were good, with a very functional kitchen. There was plenty of space for our family of four. Our kids loved the pool, which was usable under a cover even when the weather was a bit cooler.
The location is nice, with Châtelaudren being a pleasant and characterful small town. There are quite a few places to eat within a short walk, a craft brewery, and a boulangerie for morning pastries. The Notre-Dame du Tertre chapel has some fascinating medieval panel paintings. Several nice beaches and other joys of the Côtes-d'Armor such as Fort la Latte, Cap Frehel, and Île-de-Bréhat are all a short drive away.

Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Dog friendly. Great location and comfy, clean rooms. Lovely to have separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast excellent. Sadly, restaurant was closed the night we stayed but the menu looked great and good value.
