From the moment we walked into the cozy hall on a freezing January night and given the warmest of welcomes by Sylvae we knew we were in for a special time. Chef Pascal excelled, the curried butternut squash soup was literally the best soup I’ve had for a very long time. The large bedroom was very comfortable, well equipped, tranquil location, so super clean and neat. Lovely touches of chocolates. There are church bells, which I can understand for some could be an issue but they only last a minute or 2. Delicious breakfast - local cheeses, homemade jam, yogurts etc. Would love to have tried the pool but way too cold!

We loved it. It was a very personal experience with a warm welcome and a great choice of excellent rooms. we wish we could have stayed longer. We had a wonderful and convivial dinner. Breakfast was very good. Everything was perfect and we will certainly go again!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.

We had visited the hotel before in 2019 and had been delighted with the atmosphere and charming decor
Not stark and modern quite old hfashioned in some ways but charming comfortable and for a three start hotel well appointed There is a swimming pool which we could use and an enclosed carpark which felt very secure.(We felt quite safe leaving much of our luggage in the car overnight). Staff pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Classical French style hotel, fronting onto a typical square. We had a suite, overlooking the square, with all the luxury expected. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast in a stylish, old fashioned breakfast room, and with Limoges crockery ! We also bought some jam. The bistro next door is due to open in days, and will add an ambiance to the square. Parking at side of hotel. Great experience. Will return.
The host and hostess were charming and helpful, the bedroom was large and comfortable and was very quiet and the breakfast was excellent; this is an unusual property but was excellent value for money
We loved the location of Le Belvedere! Right on the ramparts in the old town, in a quiet spot but very near lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. We liked the history of the building too. The owner was very charming and helpful and she produced a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend this place.
