The house has been beautifully restored, and is very comfortable and quiet. The owners are marvelous hosts who did the restoration, know the history of the house and its original owners, as well as the subsequent owners. They also prepare all the meals, and they are wonderful. We would go back for another stay in a heartbeat.

What an amazing and interesting place to stay. We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable.
Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The hosts Sarah and Serge are fabulous lovely people. The food was delicious and all cooked fresh with produce from their garden. Very good value dinner and I would highly recommend people stay for the meal. The Chateau is in a very quiet village with not much around but ideal for some peace and tranquility. We would definitely stay again if we were going that way.
What a little gem of the hotel we found! Visiting friends in a rural area this was 15 mins drive from them so ideal for us. It was lovely and quiet. The hosts were wonderful, very attentive and even had a delicious dinner ready for us when we arrived later than expected. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and there was a good choice of cold and hot selections.
Lovely place with very kind owners. We were travelling with our kids and felt instantly welcome! We had a spacious, comfortable, cosy and clean room (Family room). Breakfast was delicious and abundant: lots of fresh fruit, great coffee and the best croissants we’ve had! You have several options for dinner within walking distance.
Great location about 40 minutes north of Limoges, on first impressions it not the best to look at, a modern building not style. Inside is great similar to a travel lodge in operation. Good sized rooms, excellent aircon, quiet even though you can see the main road. A great place to stay to explore the area, if you were traveling from the ports to further south of France I would recommend this place, the food is good and the staff were excellent.
