A lovely continental breakfast greeted me each morning, the hosts had asked what time this was required and were eager to ensure all my needs were met.
The room was clean and spacious with double bed, table, chairs, TV etc.
I travelled with my dog who was made to feel at home by the hosts friendly dog Gibb who became her playmate :)

We enjoyed having a whole house at our disposal. The bedroom heating made it cosy even in November, and there are lovely views from it. The ensuite is fine. The bath is hip-bath size, but it has a shower head attached. The sitting room downstairs is lined with books and there is a large dining area with big windows by the kitchen, and a cupboard filled with cutlery and crockery.
We appreciated finding the house open when we arrived instead of having to rendezvous with the owner ( whom we saw the next day)

We were greeted by charming hosts who spoke French and English and who considered our every need. The room was large, elegant and with the most beautiful view of Le Loir. The bed was wonderfully comfotable. A large and superbly equipped bathroom was ensuite. Breakfast was excellent with home baked bread and many extras. A glorious stay in the pretty town of La Fleche. We are recommending this Chambres d'Hôtes to our friends and will definitely stay here again.

Really convenient for our onward and exploratory travels. We were heading for Rennes via Angers, but took Catherine’s recommendation to visit Chateau Brissac-Quincé.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Lovely old french house in a lovely quiet location. The owner was very friendly, giving me directions to a fabulous restaurant on the evening of my arrival. After sleeping soundly breakfast was fresh and delicious.
We loved La Mesnagerie. The hostess greeted us by offering us a cup of tea - quite unusual in France and very welcome. The property was lovely - it is quite old and has an almost magical feel, with lots of attractive ornaments, furniture and artwork. We enjoyed having breakfast round the table with other guests and the little touches like the home made jam. Our bed was very comfortable and overall we found the whole experience charming. We definitely hope to visit again.
Our host was a very warm and interesting lady who had spent all her life in the house . The breakfast was sufficient for us and there was more on offer if required. We loved the location and quietness of the surrounding countryside.

Outstanding location and ambience, as well quality and maintenance of equipment everywhere in the accommodation from rooms to common areas including fantastic outdoor dining area, gardens, swimming pool (also on the back of very recent renovation works). Excellent breakfast and dinner menus at very appealing price/quality.
