A charming family run hotel, rooms very clean and neatly arranged, in sync with the property character.
We have been greeted and looked after by the proprietors of the hotel, a very friendly and kind couple. We felt we were very well looked after during our short stay.
The highlight of our stay was the excellent dinner, prepared in line with the local tradition, which I would highly recommend (requires booking ahead of arrival).

What a wonderful place this is with so much history, in the middle of the beautiful French countryside, just outside the tiny village of Vernot. Our bedroom was large with a lovely modern bathroom. A perfect stopping place on the way from Italy to the UK. Herve and his wife Claude could not do enough for us. Claude cooked us the most beautiful meal all made with local ingredients. We also had a delicious bottle of local red wine. They were both so kind and made us feel very welcome. I cannot recommend this property enough, you will not be disappointed.

We had really nice stay here. Ariane is so friendly and share good tips about the restaurants nearby. Breakfast is also very good. Room and B&B itself is clean, cozy. It’s not in city center but not far from everywhere.

We chose this accommodation due to location as we were driving from Italy to the UK and it is about 10 mins drive from the motorway and a good place to break our journey. The property was spotlessly clean and great facilities. The host was really nice; Stephane is really friendly and kind, a lovely man. They can arrange dinner and breakfast for you (we had breakfast). We will definitely stay again if we travel this route next time.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The auberge was in a great location, gardens and a lovely covered area to have an aperitif. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. Small comfortable hotel, highly recommended.
Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet location just outside the town. Extensice grounds to stroll around and a nice outside seating area for drinks. Easy to have a short stroll into the town which has very attractive streams running by the houses. Restaurant very modern with good a la carte or set menu available. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice of sweet treats. Room very nice and beds comfy.
Good breakfast and good location in the city center, very gentle staff. Good flexibility on the arrival time for the check in. TV and WiFi available, clean rooms. An easy access in the evening thanks to the door code and a nice cosy view on the river outside ( from the ground floor room). Cool little table outside along the riverside to drink a glass or to smoke a cigarette.
Great place to stay if you want something quiet and out of a city and are travelling by car. Good restaurant on site and plenty of parking.
The town is stunning and worth a walk around. Good restaurants in town as well.
We arrived late due to farmers protests blocking many motorways. They still welcomed us and provided us with a lovely cold platter and a glass of wine.. Very comfortable and charming place to stay.

Limited Parking was available at the hotel but the public parking, as mentioned by the hotel, was completely full with no extra space.
I’m sure that in summer sitting out front would be pleasant but not sure if the hotel offers any refreshments.
Breakfast very simple but cheap.
A lovely night's stay in an enchanting riverside location. The 3 of us had a bedroom each in a private apartment. The host was charming, the village was delightful and we had a perfect breakfast. Thank you!
