For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Breakfast was of a good standard, though nothing special, and we weren't offered much coffee.
The owner was pleasant to talk with, and her son particularly charming and wishing to be helpful.
An interesting and quirky period house in a marvellous position.
A fabulously unique property in the middle of nature. Our hosts were charming, helpful and welcoming, their home an eclectic gem and their garden an inspiration. Their pool is huge and wonderfully refreshing to dive into on our arrival. Our room provided everything we could possibly need and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast provided was simple but delicious with yogurts, fresh breads, home made preserve and croissants. And for dinner they directed us to a delightful little restaurant five minutes away. A lovely but all too brief visit.
A beautifully restored old house with excellent rooms and a superb pool and gardens. Our room was huge and comfortable. There is a communal area where an honesty bar operates, covered parking, a very quiet area at night and the nearby town (1km away) for restaurants or shopping ! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming with excellent restaurant recommendations !
Charming and welcoming. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The garden is beautiful and full of interesting plants and fruit trees. A real place to unwind.
The gardens are beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is just wonderful, great size for swimming rather than just splashing around. The owners offer complete privacy but are two of the most helpful, kind people we have ever come across. Shared areas are thoughtfully decorated and the facilities allow you the freedom to prepare food or cook for yourselves on the brilliant BBQ. It is a relaxed, quiet and delightful spot that we will return to as soon as we can.
Mas St. Joseph is a wonderful bed and breakfast to relax and enjoy the region. It's well located between the mountains and the coast. Kate and Adrian were very friendly and were happy to give great tips about the region which they know a lot about. We felt very welcome. The room was spacious and clean. Pool and outside area are great too. Would definitely recommend.
