Good value for money, a very nice breakfast and if it hadn't been SO hot and if we hadn't been travelling by bike, it would have been great. We had secure storage for the bikes, but the town was very quiet in August and the hotel restaurant wasn't open for dinner. Our host made us a lovely dinner and left it in the fridge so we didn't go hungry. A fan was provided and the shutters were closed to keep out the heat but it was tough to sleep.

The hostess is very charming and friendly. Our room was spacious, and there was a lock up garage for our bikes. The location is very good. It's an old fashioned house without any luxuries.
Exactly what the description says: charming little house in pretty countryside, near to a lively village. Perfect hosts - available when needed, but otherwise left us in peace to enjoy the house. Wonderful open fire, plenty of hot water, and extremely peaceful. Our hosts cheerfully provided more firewood when we asked for it.
Location was really great, just 5 minutes from the main motorway but lovely quiet village. Great value for money.
