We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful dog-friendly rental with breathtaking views! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery that surrounded the property.
Not only was the location absolutely perfect, but the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable for us and pur furry friend. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they were always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. We truly felt like valued guests in their home, and our dog felt right at home too.
The rental itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening on the terrace overlooking the river, taking in the views and listening to the sounds of nature while our dog played in the spacious garden

Colourfully refurb'd/decorated traditionally-styled main family home of an up-and-coming wine maker. Our room was very warm, comfortable and had elegant bathroom facilities. The characterful chateau caters to a wide range of guests’ desires, with rooms that have been robustly renovated and are well appointed with all amenities you could reasonably want. As a package, this home base presents several options either to adventure around the St.Emilion/Pomerol region and sample so many excellent wineries plus local restaurants (in nearby Libourne) OR to spend quiet, contemplative time, relaxing in the lounge before a warm open fire.
The family provide enthusiastic and dedicated hosting with clear experience in hospitality. Supremely accommodating and as an outstandingly obliging host, Clement was our main contact who maintained great communications. Nothing was too much trouble. He included a [free] wine tasting tour of their onsite production facilities, plus supplied helpful guidance about worthwhile vineyard alternatives to visit in the area. And, yes, their Clos Saint Michel Canon Fronsac wine is well-rated, and was delicious enough for us to buy several bottles. In-house dinner was available, but we already had reservations elsewhere. Very pleasant breakfast provided (even for our v.early departure). Such was the warmth and inclusive welcome of Clement, all guests felt able to get along so well.

With a friendly greeting, we were helped into a large, airy, garden room with our luggage in this well preserved old stone building. A better parking location than our chosen spot was indicated, well off-road. Thus, a wonderful start to our visit to this chambre d'hotes!
We later discovered our hosts were particularly hospitable with a penchant for wine/food/cooking. Also, at breakfast the very tasty homemade yoghurts & confiture/jams were offered. Our dining experience had been a treat!
The facilities are good with the large, thick towels enhancing our showering experience. It was a most enjoyable stay.

The room was amazing with beautiful views. The chateau was quiet and peaceful and really relaxing. The vineyard and tour was really interesting and lovely wine! Lea was our host and was perfect, she helped us with everything and prepared our delicious breakfast - all fresh locally.

We loved the quirkiness of this property. We stayed in a wooden cabin called “Les Oiseaux” which was built by the owners husband and decorated in a wonderful eclectic way. The bed was comfortable and the shower/bathroom, although very small, had piping hot water with great pressure. It was lovely to sit outside on the private patio in the late afternoon enjoying some wine from the local winery. The efficient air conditioning was a bonus on a warm day.
Really enjoyed the stay at this charming chateau in the vineyards. The antique furniture create an unique atmosphere, and Laetitia and Sophia did their best to turn our stay into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.
We loved it here! It's a really nice quiet area, very close to the city centre, great promenade by the river. The house was clean, modern, well equiped. The owner prepared toys and books for our little one, and overall every interaction with him and his son was great, really lovely people. Helped us with anything we needed during our three week stay.
We had a lovely stay. It was quiet with a delightful rustic charm. The staff were extremely friendly and we were treated to private access to see how the Chateau’s own wine was made! Beautiful setting with a nice pool and surrounded by charming towns in the heart of wine country!
