It was a very large, comfy bedroom. In fact we were the only ones in the hotel. I saw a staff member for no longer than 2 mins … otherwise on our own. Quirky decor-, Chinese, British and American Knick-knacks, taxidermy animals and lots of pictures on the wall…. made me feel like Basil Fawlty would walk in the room any moment. A pleasant stay though the town of Montreal de Gers was abandoned…. No restaurant or service of any kind. We ate microwaved food from a convenience store.

Beautiful historic property, very tranquil, set amongst vineyards. Close to character villages. Lovely room with excellent shower and comfy bed. The hosts were delightful and breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

We had a fabulous stay in Chateau de Fourcès - it's in a perfect quiet location but right in the center of this amazing village. The pool and vast garden were delightful for cooling down in the heatwave, and the tapas restaurant serves amazing food. The hosts are charming and very helpful.
