The location made it easy to explore Domme and we didn't use the car in our couple of days there. We were lucky to get parked right outside the guest house but were told there was free parking a little further up the village if needed. The hosts were wonderful and gave us a very warm welcome. The room was really big and sympathetically decorated in a rustic french style. The garden was idyllic and we also used the hot tub which was nice and secluded and available all day. The breakfast had a great choice of items including fruits, yoghurt, pastries, bread, ham, cheese, eggs etc and was presented really well.
Just 1.5km from Domme and 14 km from Sarlat-La-Caneda, Les Jonquilles is in a tranquil setting and within easy reach of the most popular tourist sites.

The breakfast was delightful. A typical French breakfast of croissant’s or French bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, juice, assorted jams, cheese and delicious fresh coffee served outside in a most attractive patio area. The decked patio area was a lovely spot to relax in the evening. Very friendly hosts, with good command of English.

The property was easy to get to and there was parking very very close by. The apartment is in the centre of town but is very private and quiet. Peaceful at night and beautiful to wake up to. Apartment spacious and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area. We are so glad we stayed here. Hotel high on a hill overlooking the Dordogne was lovely. Travelling alone, so had small but adequate room. Had lunch with friends and dinner alone the same day. Sophisticated cooking, charming service, good wine. Not cheap, but good value for the location and quality. Overall, excellent.
Sometimes we like to be off the "beaten track" and this was just that! We really enjoyed the quiet beauty of the area.Our hosts were very welcomming,very friendly,and charming.They were nearby but never intrusive. We enjoyed a very good breakfast each morning and were totally comfortable. They have built a lovelly home and we were priveleged to enjoy it. We can only recommend and thank them........
