Location, facilities, decoration, food and owners were excelent. The house is old and you can feel its beautiful soul and history. The lovely furniture and decorations and the warm welcome of the owners make it feel like home.
The property is located next to Strasbourg, Colmar and other beautiful villages in Alsace. We visited in the winter but I can only imagine the green and the sun in the spring. My family loved it also and we are planning for another visit. I can only say good things about this “Nest”. :) I would also recommend reading the little book in the room which tells the story of the house and owners and also gives visiting recommendations in the area.
Even though our French is minimum, the owners were kind enough to accommodate it without making us feel bad about it.:)

The location was wonderful. Both rooms had a view of a stork's nest with (with young storks and parents). It's a quiet town, full of lovely wooden houses with beautiful gardens and a very chilled atmosphere. We only had one night's stay, as we were on route to Italy, but I'd love to go there for a holiday. It's a very relaxing place. The breakfast was brilliant - local produce and lots of it. The terrace is great. We arrived after a long drive from the UK and sat on the terrace with our books for a couple of hours. If you're feeling frazzled, this is the place to visit. Also, the shower was great and there's a lovely library to sit in if it's chilly outside.

Fabulously spacious apartment, very clean, had everything you would need while away from home. Great location, lovely hosts. All around awesome experience!

- Appartment: comfortable, luxurious, quietness, panorama, large garage;
- Outdoor: hiking in the mountains (e.g. Col de la Schleif, Temple du Donon) and city trip to Colmar and Strasbourg.
Nice appartment with ample space and a large balcony where its was great to have breakfast. Quiet area with several hinking paths litterally passing the front door, and of course all relevant muts-see's are close or only a short drive away. The extensive bundle of informative brochures, leaflets and maps was very appreciated, we used several of them for our trips!
We were met by Jean Michel, the owner, who gave us a full tour of the house. He and his wife even left us a bottle of wine and little cakes which was lovely. The views from the accommodation are beautiful and everything is very modern. Great facilities and very kind owners.
The house is not in Dabo village so it’s important to know there is a 10 min drive to the local shop/boulangerie etc. This is an excellent place if you want to go hiking or if you want peace and quiet.
