The property is peaceful and serene. the room was large and very comfortable. We had a private bathroom. Our hosts were just wonderful and even helped us with our French a bit.

The room was set on tatami mats, with a mattress on the floor and soft lighting. The breakfast was very good, beautifully set table- Japanese style on the floor. The room was decorated in a Japanese motif with soft koto music and dim lighting. The garden was well taken care of, and the sound of the stream nearby made it relaxing. We stayed upstairs in the family room. It was very comfortable and we were made to feel part of the family, who live in a separate house on the property. Parking is easy and directly outside the door but be prepared for stairs. The pool house is very nice and the pool is a good size for doing laps. The daily continental breakfast was good. Aurélie and her husband are very sociable and gave us good tips for exploring the area.

we stayed one night on a motorcycle tour. secure garage parking in the owners garage. quirky, characterful French interior. very clean, comfortable and all the kitchen facilities you could need. lovely friendly host who has a small dog. a few minutes walk to local village, bar restaurant and shops.
