Nothing was good. The owner had lied about the place, which is simply a one-family dwelling with two bedrooms that he double-rents to complete strangers. He basically forces complete strangers to live together in a common space and to share a bathroom that is transparent! There is absolutely no privacy! It is crazy that Booking allows these practises. A solo female traveler is put into a non-private situation with a man that she has never met before! Completely taken by surprise! This place is good for families or for couples, not for complete strangers. And by putting locks on the two bedroom doors does not change things. It's a horror to be forced to share a house with a complete stranger! And there is much more that was wrong with this accommodation that should not even be in business.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
A nice set of bungalow type accommodation in a great location. Simple and functional, but everything you need for a family beach break. Free secure parking too. Staff were great too.
This is a charming 1920’s house about a 5 minute walk from the town centre. It is very clean and comfortable and the host very friendly and helpful.
It is on a quiet street and there is ample parking on the property and you can also park safely outside in the street.
