This is a room in a beautiful private home, it isn't just a short term rental in an apartment block. La proprietaire is there on site, and she is entirely charming, welcoming, and filled with good spirit.
The room, or actually rooms since a small reading room was also available for my use, was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was copious (I think the French would say genereux) with breads, butter, and conserves of the highest quality served on elegant china in a beautiful dining room.
