We are tempted to deal exclusively in superlatives when reviewing our stay at this mansion, but it was truly gorgeous. To sleep in the comfort of a beautiful estate like this on a road trip stopover is one thing, but for it to be essentially an art gallery at the same time was the most unexpected and lovely surprise. We ate breakfast surrounded by beautiful works of art. We cannot thank our hostess enough for welcoming us so warmly into this dream of a house.

This was one of those places that is truly exceptional! Everything from the beautiful blue doors that greet you to our host who is simply delightful. Everything at this B&B reflects the owners efforts in making this a beautiful experience for a guest! There is nothing they have not thought of! On top of that breakfast was wonderful beautiful fruits and juice along with homemade jams. This is a place to visit again and the little village is beautiful

I had a wonderful stay at La Palombiere while I was walking the Chemin de Vézelay. Xavier and Michelle are fabulous hosts. The house is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious, including a freshly fried egg from one of their chickens. When I left to continue my walk they even sent me off with a bag of cherry tomatoes from their garden!
