Laurence made our stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience. We were 3 adults and 1 kid and stayed in the family room, which has a double bed and 2 single beds and a spacious bathroom with a big shower. One of the tops of our room were the windows on the roof, perfect to see the moon and stars in a clear sky evening. Another top is the swimming pool: clean and not that cold. Not mentioning the communal kitchen in a separate building of the property: refrigerator, microwave and a stove. Each of the 3 rooms of the property had its own cabinet to store food. Plates, cups and cutlery available as well as everything else you need to cook (like pans), if you would like. Parking place inside the property in a dedicated area. And of course: The Breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious, like the juices and the jams made by Laurence from the fruits she picked in the garden in the day before. We stayed for 4 days, and every day we had a different type of croissants. Not mentioning the delicious coffee made by her! The property is only 18 minutes drive from Disney and about an hour of places like the Versailles palace and the Chantilly castle. Our big thanks to Laurence, who was kind and attentious with us during the whole stay and provided us with good tips of places to visit in the days we were not at Disney. Looking forwards to next time :-)

Le Grand Barrios is a lovely old three story stone and brick home with historic roots firmly planted on the banks of the River Morin, a small tributary of the Marne. Originally a convent the Grand Barrios grew into its current form over the centuries. Our very large room on the second floor was formenry the living room. Furnished with antique furniture, its large windows overlook the back garden end the river. It has well equipped separate toilet and bath. On the ground level is a large living room, dining room and kitchen where Fred, the owner, a former chef, prepares delicious breakfast of homemade specialties and gourmet evening meals on request. Before dinner Fred and his associate Jean-Phillippe encourage his guests to gather in the living room for pre-dinner drinks and lively conversation. Free parking on site. Although the town of Crecy-la-Chapelle may at first glance, seem like another forgotten village along the way to Meaux, its hidden charms are worth exploring. Crecy-la-Chapelle's location on the river Morin fostered trade, craft, and the textile industry during the Middle Ages. In the 19th-century, the town inspired many Barbizon School painters who nicknamed it " Venice in Brie." You can take a pleasant walk from the town square to the river, past the remaining mills and church. Look for the small signs that help explain the little known history of the interesting old river town.

Staying in Wonderland was more than a stay for us, it was an experience. The internal decoration gave us an endless stream of "easter eggs" to find: from quotes from the book, to small decorations spread throughout the place, to the utensils used for breakfast. Anastasia was an amazing host, the kids kept wanting to ask questions, and not only did she indulge them, when my daughter (who was reminded of an escape room by the design) asked if they have secret drawers we need to find, Anastasia thought about it for a second, and said maybe tomorrow there will be, and arranged an easter egg hunt for them (Which they never had before - they were excited). Breakfast was good, freshly made and with good products.
