Great way to take the time off from a busy city life and connect with nature! Wonderful hosts, great place for the vineyard experience, beautiful property. Even my puppy felt at home! To start with, I was given boots to walk around in the field so my shoes wouldn’t get dirty, parking was perfect, access was super easy and check in couldn’t be smoother. Claude even called some restaurants to find me a reservation when I tried to have dinner after my weird work hours when almost everything was closed as it was winter. I was asked everyday what I want for breakfast the next day and at what time, and my late breakfast requests were adhered and they made me what I wanted. When they had to leave for a work trip, they left me a perfect breakfast basket with everything that I wanted. Also, got a chance to do wine tasting and had a crash course on how to make wine. And their wine is natural and exceptionally delicious. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the comfort of the room. I woke up early and was able to fall back to sleep for another couple of hours with no issue at all. Beautiful grounds as well. I wish I had been staying there more than one night. The breakfast was great as well, including the egg that was cooked for me, absolutely delicious. The fruit and breads were all delicious.

The location, Jean and the service, the room. We usually stay In Bordeaux city but after choosing Clos we will now always come here. Super calm, beautiful, great host and also really luxurious. And really awesome breakfast!!

The property is absolutely beautiful, the garden is really large, with lovely tall tress keeping some areas in the shade. The views are gorgeous.
When it was hot outside the house stayed cool, and the surroundings are extremely quiet, another bonus.
The equipment is perfect for families, the decor in the house is really splendid.
The host was really lovely, extremely caring - which participated in making this unique experience particularly enjoyable.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
We had an amazing stay at this apartment in the city center. The design is unbelievable, and the place was super spacious and comfy - a lot of kitchen utensils, good wifi. Self-checkin was super straight forward. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay. I wish we had more days here!
Queen room was very nice, charming and historic. Property itself has countryside atmosphere with chickens, lambs, peacocks, wine yard (compared to some high end winery where every last straw of grass has been mowed).
Offered us very nice 3 plate homemade dinner, as this was Sunday and off season, so not too many options in town nearby.
WiFi was very fast, speed test showed 200+ Mbits.

This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The hosts were charming and we delighted to have a tour of their cave and share a drink after. We highly recommend and hope to return one day.
The location was breathtaking. The Chateau itself was beautiful. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good. The owner was welcoming and friendly. There was also a massive white dog (Pyrenees Mountain Dog) and she was gorgeous!
The whole property was beautifully renovated. Our apartment was airy and spacious and tastefully decorated with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were charming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They took us on a tour of the caves and wine tasting which was an unexpected treat.
Philippe and Sylvie gave us a warm welcome in their B&B/Chambre d’hôtes. The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the swimming pool and there was a private parking spot. The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit. Philippe gave us really good advice on where to eat and drink and where to taste wine. We had taken our bikes with us and the surroundings of Bourg and Blaye are really beautiful with its slightly hilly landscape with vineyards. You can easily bike to Bourg to have dinner.
Philipe is a great host! He has a lot of good recommendations for the area, and makes reservations for your dinner as well. The room is even nicer than on the pictures, the pool is lovely (and open even in May where a lot of hotels only open their pool only in summer), and the garden is beautiful. It is located in a quiet area but buy car you are super quick in Bourg, at the next vineyard, etc. Highly recommend!
