Room and breakfast was very good. Wifi ok but not great. Location excellent just a short stroll to the Cathedral and Tapestry. Host is very friendly and helped with taxis, The whole of the B&B was spotless. Parking is outside on the street.

Diana is an awesome hostess! Met us at the door with a very warm welcome and #10 smile. Gave us a little tour of a tlc property, took our order time for breakfast, gave us our keys for the room and parking and offered her assistance for anything we desired. Breakfast ready on the dot and some great conversation while introducing her guests. We were out a bit early the next day and she had a little to-go breakfast waiting for us. Great visit w a great young lady.

Laurence and Michelle were welcoming and delightful from the start. It was my children’s first time in a hotel and they were made to feel very welcome from the outset. The rooms were huge with lovely large bathrooms and nice added touches such as nespresso coffee machines. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes and the mouth and a perfect way to set one up for the day. A wonderful trip, thank you!

What we liked best was unexpected. The advertising made us think our group of six were staying in the chateau pictured. When we arrived we discovered this was not the case. We were instead showed to a separate building in the garden- a gite as the French call it. This was initially disappointing, but in fact the Gite was lovely and perfect for a large group to share! Nicely presented, with a full kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, it was perfect for us and we loved it! Great location a five minute walk from jut about everything we wanted. And the price was ridiculously good for such a large group- a real bargain!

Lovely property in a quiet village 10 minutes from Bayeux and 30 minutes from Arromanche/Gold Beach. The property and parking area is completely secured behind electric gates. The garden is simple but tastefully laid out with table and chairs available for each room so you sit outside during the day or evening.
Breakfast is typically French, fresh stick, croissants, ham, cheese, jam, fresh local fruit, tea or coffee. Everything was good quality.
Our room was the Chalet which looks very similar to a hobbit house but much bigger and has a rustic feel. It has air conditioning, which cools and heats as required, a table and 2 chairs if you want to eat in, small flat screen TV, microwave and fridge. The tea and coffee making facility provided was quite poor. There were very few tea bags and only 1 coffee pod for the coffee making machine and no milk or cream. When we asked for some we were told that milk was only available in the breakfast room? We used some of the tea bags and they weren’t replenished the following day either.
The shower was a non-thermostatic mixer valve which was difficult to control as once you had got it right a minute or so later the temperature would change and you’d need to readjust it. This is also the only room with a mirror and it was quite dark so my wife had difficulty doing her hair and make-up.
Check-in is from 5.30pm and if you think you might turn up earlier and be allowed into your room, wrong!!! You will be waiting on the main road outside the electric security gates until that time.

The apartment has all you need & more. Breakfast was catered to my tastes & was ample & excellent.
I was departing by train at 3.30pm & Gizelle kindly organised for my backpack to be delivered to the station for me.
I will definitely stay here again if I am back in Bayuex.

Quaint hotel with great location. Excellent service. Walking distance to many sites and restaurants. Staff communication was good with quick responses to any quiries. Nice and warm welcome by Marie at the reception.
It is close to city centre yet very quiet. The room was very large, well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Isabelle and her husband were super kind and knowledgeable. We were given several good recommendations.

Loved the little extras like a welcome bottle of champagne, beers in the fridge, local produces (caramels, calvados, butter biscuits :), coffee capsules for the Tassimo machine, universal adaptor, wireless speaker.
