The accomodation is in a beautiful location, with amazing views of the hills. Nearby (walkable - 15/20 mins) there is few lovely restaurants and bars, bakeries etc. (just check opening times before heading in). The guest house was clean and breakfast was excellent - would recommend the room with a balcony. Joelle (owner) was absolutely lovely, knowledgeable and very accommodating, helping us book an early taxi to the airport and even did a little pack-lunch style breakfast for us! There is a bus that you can catch from the end of the road which is good, buses aren't that regular and the last one back from St Jean De Luz is at approx. 7pm. Taxis are quite expensive, from St Jean De Luz to the accomodation was €25. I would highly recommend booking if you want a relaxing time somewhere quiet and beautiful with good food and wine!

If you want to stay in a peaceful location in a character property then this is the place for you. It really felt like we were in a private country home. The bedroom and en-suite were very comfortable. The fact that there was a communal guest lounge was a bonus topped by the fact that there was a mixture of alcoholic beverages, port, cognac etc that we could help ourselves to. Coffee and tea was available at all times in the breakfast room and there was a separate full kitchen we could use if required. Basically, this place has everything! On top of all that, breakfast was a real treat and the owners and all other staff were so nice.

Booked due to the positive reviews and wanted a place to stay close to Spanish border with drive from the UK. Host very helpful and useful having car parked safely with Xmas presents on board: Whilst breakfast served from 0830 when I said I wanted to leave by 0800 I was then given breakfast at 0715 which set me up for an 8 hour drive

The breakfast was outstanding, and the accommodation was fabulous - clean, spacious and very comfortable with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We really enjoyed relaxing at the pool and the hot tub was an added bonus. Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy a luxurious stay in this beautiful place.

The property was fabulous; stylish and in a great location. We were able to sit on the balcony with wonderful views of the Mountains but we’re in easy striking distance of coastal locations such as Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz.
Good location, comfortable room and quiet for sleeping. Freindly and helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Close to public bus service as we didn't have a car.

She provided a lovely room for us to stay in which was beautifully styled and a very generous breakfast on the terrace with a brilliant view out towards the mountains. A quiet part of the Ascain suburbs but close to town for easy access to restaurants. Also a great location for exploring the mountain region and not far from the beaches. Convenient and safe street parking.
