The Jardins de la Fontaine is a green heaven in Alès. The hosts were very nice. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was great. If you want to have a good dinner at a nice small restaurant, go to the Cuisine nearby.

We felt very welcome, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is fantastic. The house is an ancient building, lovely restored and the rooms are beautiful decorated, the garden is a romantic place to stay in and to enjoy the swimming pool. The hotel is well situated between Alès and Anduze.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.

Sylvie, the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Very bubbly personality. Breakfast was superb ! We sat outside in the terrace by the pool and there was no rush to check out. The whole property is available to rent by special negotiation if wanted.
The house is a bit strange but it is well equipped for a short stay (one or two nights). it is a bit old fashioned but perfectly clean. It has wifi (10 to 15 Mbps) and a TV which I did not switch on. The house is very quiet.
Decent size room with big comfortable bed and room temperature great. Nice view of the « Cratère » and mover sized modern bathroom. Quiet location at night and close to the city centre and opposite the train station. Staff pleasant and helpful,
