We loved the whole experience, starting from the boat ride on lake Pielinen, accomodation and the fantastic buildings with fascinating details, sauna, prepared dinner baskets as well as the great breakfast. Lovely staff, really friendly. The room was cozy & spacious, the balcony was a nice surprise. The bathroom served its purpose. Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet area with a large yard & a kota building. Breakfast & dinner were good. It was also a lovely surprise that there's a sauna & a pool, which I got to use all by myself (by luck? :D) which felt luxurious.
Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite sufficient. The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.
Lovely peaceful position by the lake. We stayed in the annexe which was comfortable and quiet. The pavillion by the lake was great. The view from it was excellent and the fire a nice extra.Swimming was good. We ate a very good breakfast with lots of choice. It was a good place to stay for getting the (expensive) boat trip over to Koli. This is a relaxing place to stay. Nice little kitchen to cook in. All clean and fine.
The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The room was very spacious, clean and quite nice. The hotel is located in a quiet location. We really liked the room with air hockey, billiards and similar games. The breakfast was also okay. There were also plenty of parking spaces.
The location is lovely and the view is amazing from the shore. The big house has charechter and the breakfast, made mostly at the guesthouse, was really good. The side building has lovely rooms with private bathrooms and the kitchen area was well equipped. There was also a electric sauna and a tub we didn't use but that were a fun addition.
Tarina-aho bed and breakfast is very unique and has a charm of its own. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The barbeque and the breakfast were fantastic.
Pure and clean nature, together with really kind and helpful staff. Peaceful and quiet place.
