Very spacious and in a very quiet area. Great for walks and pet friendly. Very picturesque and relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped and a good size. The owner is very helpful and positive.
Beautiful nature location, rural and remote. Peaceful and quiet. Good kids space with trampoline etc. Good facilities, we had everything we needed for 2 weeks. Sauna, swimming, walks, trips to nearby islands on a boat. Overall we loved it and would stay again, it was a really quality time with no phone, just books and nature and time to think
This is a fabulous place. The cottagen is perfectly equipped with everything needed for a long stay. Perfectly clean, full of sun, with a great view to the lake. Very helpful and responsive staff.
A lot of wild berries, mushrooms, white fish in the water directly from the cottege's pier.
And quiet...
Matikkala cottage was everything we hoped for. Cozy, fully equipped and owner, who was quick to solve any issues. A great stay on a quiet island near Ruokolahti! Good for families.
Very friendly and helpful staff, it was not an issue to arrive late. The location is easy to find, quiet surroundings, good breakfast, it is perfect solution for overnight stay and we would definitely stay longer during high summer season.
