Rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The second generation owner of this hotel, Pedro, is one of the most kind and hospitable people on the planet. His pride in the establishment is apparent. He willingly shares his knowledge and passion for the town of Lugo which opens up aspects of the city not found in any guidebook. This is my second stay at Hostal Alba and will not be my last. Lugo has much to offer and Pedro is able to help you maximize your time in a way that is tailored to your desires. Simply communicate. Great balcony, clean, close to everything, could control our own air conditioning. Mario and his wife run a great place to stay and are so friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests. And they have an amazing place for food and drink below at Bar Roma.

My most favorite and special stay on the Camino Primitivo. I highly recommend this farm house. I had the very best sleep and enjoyed my stay so very much. There are two laundry machines as well!

Everything. Great rural village, quiet and serene. Beautifully presented and comfortable accommodation complemented by the warm welcome by our hostess. The local restaurant, about 700 metres away, provided an excellent value for dinner. An excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Great location with literally a 1 minute walk to the Roman Wall. I was given a lovely welcome by Carris on reception and my room was actually an apartment so I had a huge amount of room. Even though I overlooked the main road it was very quiet at night. WiFi was great, and though the rooms were a little jaded, they were extremely clean. I will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
